Seth's new word or question I should say is "Why?" I like to call it the why stage. No matter what you say, He says "why." The conversation always goes something like this:
Me: Good morning Seth, it's cold outside today
"Why?" Because it's snowing.
Why?" Because it is.
"Why?" Because the weatherman said it would snow.
"Why?" Because it's falling out of the ski
"Why?" Because that's what snow does
"Why?" It has something to do with water freezing as it moves through the air
"Why?" Well, that's what scientist are for, to explain snow
"Why?" Because they went to school to learn about snow...and other stuff
"Why?" Because, that's what you do, you go to school to learn
"Why?" It's important to learn
"Why?" Well, so you grow up and become smart.
"Why?" Because Mom and Mommy say so
"Why?" So you don't live in our house forever
"Why?" Because we don't want you to
"Why?" Cause then you will have to shovel snow when it falls
"Why?" You sure you don't want to go look at the snow?
"Why?" Cause it is really pretty
"Why?" Can you stop saying why?
"Why?" Why not?
"Why?"
As you can see... you could go all day with this line of questioning. I recommend it the next time someone says ANYTHING to you. I like to try and say stuff to make him not ask why...but it never works. Why?
